Abstract

the process of feeding data back into the design process from all requirements a building needs from water and energy consumption to overall satisfaction with the place and occupants. According to architects interested in sustainability, (POE) is a prerequisite for closing the large gap between the expected building performance and the actual building performance.
Hence, the (POE) is defined as the systematic evaluation of newly constructed buildings after they have been occupied for at least one year to measure the extent to which design goals have been achieved, as the evaluation provides a method for collecting data about the building،The research adopted a joint strategy that combines the descriptive study method, in addition to a comparative analytical study of the impact of the automation system by post-occupancy evaluation by conducting a questionnaire for the users of two office buildings. The various aspects of evaluation in this questionnaire include: the quality of the internal environment, user satisfaction, productivity in work and architectural design.
